If “Tree of life” has been very badly received by critics, the screening of Bertrand Bonello’s “L’Appolonide” has been acclaimed with brilliance at the Grand Théâtre Lumière. The story of a brothel at the dawn of the 20th century, where prostitutes with secret lives evolve, interpreted by actresses Noémie Lvovsky, Hafsia Herzi, Céline Sallette and Jasmine Trinca. A good reason for the entire film team to celebrate this success at the Château du Cercle, surrounded by a myriad of directors who have come to slum it in the foothills.
