The Théâtre du Châtelet Puts the Younger Generation in the Spotlight with “OLLIE”

Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris

From April 25th to 27th, the Théâtre du Châtelet invites the younger generation to take centre stage with OLLIE, an exhilarating show directed by Nicolas Musin, with Pedro Winter as musical director. Borrowing its name from a basic skateboarding trick, the show unfolds around a large ramp where skateboarders, dancers, and plotters come together. Designed as a springboard for young artists, OLLIE blends artistic expressions from urban culture—skateboarding, dance, parkour, and music—to “move the street to the stage.” Produced by Pavillon Noir in collaboration with the UMA company, this playful and electrifying production features an exceptional musical line-up, including tracks by Paul Prier, Bambounou and Morgane Ortin, Tatyana Jane, s8jfou, piaconcept, and Ouai Stéphane. On April 24th, we attended an exclusive preview of the show, which was followed by a cocktail party in the theatre’s main hall, where we met producers Ghislain de La Chaise and Morgan Bouvant, alongside Pedro Winter, Myd, Breakbot, Luis Philippe and Alain Paul…
