“1000 milliards d’images”, the 4th Exhibition of the Reiffers Art Prize
This week saw the opening of “1000 milliards d’images”, the fourth exhibition of the Reiffers Art Initiatives Prize, which supports young French artists and cultural diversity. It will run until 10 May at the Reiffers Art Center, located near the Place de l’Étoile in Paris. Founded by Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers, founding chairman of the Mazarine group, the Reiffers Foundation has been supporting the emerging French art scene since 2021. Curated by Thibaut Wychowanok, the exhibition brings together the work of five artists selected by the foundation’s artistic committee: Caroline Poggi & Jonathan Vinel, Anhar Salem, Jean-Vincent Simonet and Nanténé Traoré.
During the inaugural evening, the Prize was bestowed upon Anhar Salem, who received the accolade before a distinguished line-up of leading figures from the worlds of art, culture, fashion and luxury, gathered to support emerging young artists. Among them were celebrities such as Gabriel Attal, directors of major luxury brands such as Cédric Charbit (Saint Laurent), Laurent Claquin (Kering), Arnaud Carrez (Cartier), Eric Collombin (Rolex), Benjamin Comar (Piaget) and key players in the artistic and cultural scene, including artist Jean-Michel Othoniel, Babeth Djian editorial director of Numéro, artistic director Nicolas Di Felice (Courrèges), model and photographer Anne-Catherine Lacroix, actresses Camille Razat and Diane Rouxel, prima ballerina Germain Louvet, choreographer Benjamin Millepied and curators Caroline Bourgeois (Pinault Collection), Ludovic Delalande (Fondation Louis Vuitton) and Matthieu Humery (Pinault Collection). Jean-Victor Meyers (L’Oréal) was also present.
