Paris Design Week B&B Italia Launches new Maxalto space
While all eyes were focused on Fashion Week, design aficionados dove in to Paris Design Week. As part of this dynamic week devoted to design, B&B Italia inaugurated its new Maxalto space in its showroom on the Rue du Bac (Paris 7). Guests discovered new pieces of furniture from the collection, designed by Antonio Citterio. The event brought together a number of major players from the French and international design worlds, starting with the emblematic Philippe Starck, who was featured in Say Who just a year ago. Created in 1975 by t architects Afra and Tobia Scarpa, the Maxalto collection epitomizes a desire for excellence: its name is taken from the Veneto dialect “Massa Alto” which means “the highest”.
