While the Laffanour Galerie Downtown unveiled the project last December in the heart of Art Basel Miami, it was in its Parisian space that François Laffanour invited us to rediscover the series of lamps signed Isamu Noguchi and customized by Kris Van Assche. The designer, who has been the creative driving force behind Dior Homme for ten years, applied some of his own black and white flower photography in the manner of a collage, as if with the intention of a street artist affixing his signature to already existing objects. As in Miami, the opening of the Parisian exhibition (to be seen until March 3rd) brought together close friends of the gallery and the fashion house such as architect Dominique Perrault, gallery owner Jacques Lacoste, Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers or actor Pierre Deladonchamps.
