The 39th International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories Kicks Off in Hyères
While Paris is home to the official Fashion Week, Hyères is the place where one of the most important gatherings for fashion and creativity enthusiasts takes place: the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories. This 39th edition of the festival, founded and directed by Jean-Pierre Blanc, and presided over by Pascale Mussard, will once again take over the Villa Noailles, putting young designers in the spotlight from October 10th to 13th.
Jean-Pierre Blanc gave a speech at the opening ceremony, held this Thursday, October 10th, in which he expressed his determination to strengthen Toulon’s position as a permanent hub for emerging creativity. While major new features will not be unveiled until next year’s edition, which will celebrate the festival’s 40th anniversary, this year’s event already bears witness to the desire to promote the local scene, with the unprecedented presence of a showroom exclusively dedicated to brands from the region.
The festivities included a surprise concert by Camille Lellouche, a tote bag customization workshop with American vintage, and a screening of the 38th edition of the festival’s fashion show. During this first day, which ended with Leslie Barbara Butch’s DJ set, we met Pascal Morand, Nicolas di Felice, Souleymane Bachir Diaw, Théo Mercier, Stéphane Wargnier, Lyas…
