Edi Dubien Reveals the Power of Self-Expression at the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature

With more than 200 drawings and many new sculptures and installations, Edi Dubien presents “Light up endlessly”, a monographic exhibition exploring themes that are dear to him. Scattered throughout the Musée de la Chasse et la Nature, and in close dialogue with the permanent collections, Edi Dubien’s touching artworks are committed: they speak out against domestic violence, especially towards children, they question social constructs, they deconstruct the rigidity of compulsory lifestyles, and they give everyone a chance to reclaim their own identity.

In the background, the artist never forgets to highlight the deep connection between man and nature, using the latter as a metaphor for the human condition. Balancing resilience and fearsome fragility, Edi Dubien takes us on a poetic, melancholy journey, proving that a gentler world is not impossible.

At the opening, we met Alain Gutharc, Pierre Lungheretti, Jean-Michel Crovesi, José Levy, Frank Lamy…
