Festival of Literature: ELLE readers reward their must reads

ELLE has been supporting literature for over 50 years. The magazine “created by women, for women” gives each year, a voice to its female readers. For this 53rd edition of the Grand Prix des Lectrices, 120 jurors devoured dozens of books and awarded three prizes. Anne Berest was awarded the novel prize, Mathieu Palain the documentary prize, and Tana French was honored with the thriller prize. To celebrate the winners, but also those who shape the contemporary literary landscape, ELLE organized on Monday its Festival of Literature, at the Théâtre du Rond Point, in Paris. The star of the event? The French language, read by great names of the French cinema (Edouard Baer, Irène Jacob, Julia Piaton), sung by Juliette Armanet and celebrated during an exceptional interview with Chantal Thomas, patron of the event. Sharing love of literature also means ensuring its accessibility. If you wish to join the adventure, all you have to do is register on the magazine’s website. We look forward to seeing you in 2023 for the 54th edition…
