Figaret’s Literary Dinner Celebrates “La Passion du Style”

For those passionate about literary and sartorial style, this is the place to be. A kind of noble dandyism that invokes the elegance of intelligence. The first dinner of the year opened with one of writer and journalist Christophe Ono-dit-Biot’s favourites, the legendary Bret Easton Ellis. Figaret’s president Eléonore Baudry, alongside Vincent Elbaz, welcomed again personalities from different horizons, all united by this shared passion. As always, each guest brought a book close to their heart to give to the person sitting next to them. The result is a melange of the finest letters, some amusing stories and laughter. All the more so this year, as the event concluded with an impromptu karaoke session, where some of pop culture’s greatest hits may have been somewhat desacralized.

We caught a glimpse of Fleur Pellerin, Luc Speisser, Victoire Sikora, Bertrand Picard, Julien Neuville, Eric Laplantif, Alina Gurdiel, Thibaut Gauthier, Antoine Geoffroy d’Assy, Louis Do de Lencquesaing, Aure Atika, Mokhtar Amoudi, Nathalie Zberro, and Jérôme Vermelin.
