The announcement was made in Los Angeles during the Autumn Winter 2023/24 fashion show: Automobili Lamborgini and Rhude Designs partner to launch a second menswear collection. Under the direction of Rhude’s founder and creative director Rhuigi Villaseñor, this collaboration blends the spirit of the two international brands and chose a very unique scene for the unveiling of their partnership. A gaz station entirely reconstructed in a Hollywood set. And so it was amidst petrol pumps and under flashy neon lights, that the iconic Lamborghini Huracán STO appeared, almost like a vision, customized with the Rhude logo. A very cinematic appearance that also set the pace of the catwalk, as the roar of its running engine acted as the soundtrack to the event. It was in this atmosphere that bomber jackets, jumpers, sweatshirts, racing and varsity jackets with short-cut cargo pants and denim work pants paraded. Not to mention maxi scarves, baseball caps, sports bags, buckets and hats. In short, a collection of garments with a common denominator: grit, a hallmark of both houses. One final note: the capsule collection will be available from autumn 2023 in all Rhude outlets, in selected boutiques and, of course, on the brand’s online shop. Text: Germano d’Acquisto
