Water and electricity do not usually get on well together. However, over the last few years, the Franco-Monegasque company Vita Powerboat has become a leading specialist in converting the famous Rivas to electric power. Stepping things up a gear, they are now launching an in-house version powered by the latest Maserati electric engines. Powered by four batteries distributed between starboard and port, coupled with two 600 hp electric motors, the Tridente reaches full speeds of up to 30 knots, fastly recharged in less than an hour.
