Backed by some kind of F-station funded by Jaguar/Land Rover, the young ARC project hints at a new age of electric motorcycling. The bike itself features a range of innovations, including a unibody battery. But it is by putting the rider at the heart that it really stands out from its rivals. In partnership – with Hedon for the helmet and Knox for the suit – Arc has developed several systems that send or use different data transmitted by the rider to take part in an unprecedented riding experience. Head-up display, “Armor” suit fitted with many sensors that will provide information to the motorcycle – and if necessary act on its behavior : heart rate, number of Gs received, degree of inclination of the pilot, assistance in case of accident, etc. … The system can also warn the pilot of a possible danger via a vibration system integrated into the suit.
