The YSL Beauty Club Virtual Room opens its doors for a worldwide digital experience
“Get your party mood on without leaving home”. While France is slowly getting out of quarantine, YSL Beauty has found the perfect alternative to the lack of social gatherings by organizing their first ever YSL Beauty Club “Virtual Room” with the support of Say Who. Open simultaneously in Paris, New York and Singapour, the #YSLBEAUTYCLUBVR let some 1,500 privileged guests experience the unique, connected atmosphere of one of the best beauty parties there is. And this, without having to leave their home. Once connected to the platform, guests were invited to join the “Main Floor” where everyone danced to the sound of a live DJ set by Louise Chen (the trendy French DJ appeared on screen on a Parisian, YSL-branded roof). While disco hits put everybody in a festive spirit, people in the “chat” section requested their access to the “Powder Room”, a special area where Celine Bernaerts welcomed them with makeup tips for the perfect night in. Back on the main floor, Brandon Miel Masele captivated the crowd with his dance moves in a luminous scenography. The most VIP guests (model Taylor LaShae, Lena Simonne, Louise Verneuil, drag artist Aquaria or French actress Anaïs Weill) all met up with Say Who photographers in the exclusive photocall room to have their picture taken. For this first-ever kind of party, everybody played along spiritedly: each guest partied with their favorite YSL Beauty backdrop on, while some of them debuted their best party looks on the screen for everyone to see – and to dance all night long. “Party mode is… ON”.
