Clarins Pays Tribute to its Iconic Double Serum at the PUR Restaurant
Designed by Hugo Toro, PUR is THE new restaurant in the Vendôme neighbourhood. The instigator of many cutting-edge artistic projects, the artist recently collaborated with Clarins on the design and packaging of the Mas Candille hotel and its Glow House, to make it the latest incredible venue of Mougins. This fabulous Parisian spot was the ideal location to pay tribute to a skincare legend.
First launched 40 years ago as a two-step routine, the Double Serum cemented its position in the world of anti-ageing skincare in the late 1990s. It was at this time that Clarins imagined a two-in-one bottle, whose revolutionary pump blended water- and oil-soluble ingredients together. Since then, the serum has gone through 9 reformulations that have only enhanced its performance. In 2024, the Double Serum pushed back the limits of anti-ageing innovation with even greater potency. Inspired by the science of epigenetics, its unprecedented technology challenges time and defines a new vision of youth. In 2025, the Double Serum was unveiled in a light texture for a comprehensive solution to all anti-ageing concerns.
This worldwide success was celebrated last night under the glass roof of the Park Hyatt Vendôme during a dinner orchestrated by chef Jean François Rouquette. There, the PUR restaurant paid tribute to its signature ingredient, the organic “Grand Roseau de Provence” (a reed from Provence). During the evening, alongside Jenna Courtin, we met Marie de Quenetain, Charlotte di Calypso, Monica de la Villardière, Claire Mougenot, Juliette Longuet, and Lorena Vergani.
