The Iconic Hotel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, Celebrates The Art of Skateboarding With THE SKATEROOM
From June 18th to September 14th, 2024, the Hotel de Crillon is collaborating with THE SKATEROOM, a social platform which combines art and skateboarding to create projects with a social impact. To celebrate this new Olympic sport, whose events will take place on the Place de la Concorde in front of the palace’s doors, talented artists such as Cindy Sherman, Juergen Teller, Jules de Balincourt and Inès Longevial have decorated a selection of skateboards, featured in an exhibition imagined by Sarah Andelman and produced by Aline Asmar d’Amman. These works of art are displayed in the hotel’s lobby, the bar and the Signature Suites, and they are yours to discover and purchase, with 10% of the proceeds going to THE SKATEROOM’s social partners.
At the opening evening, we met Laurent Grasso, Michele Lamy, Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, Ellen von Unwerth, Leo Walk and many others.
