The Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation Gala Pays Tribute to Sophie Calle
On November 4th, the Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation, chaired by Serge Toubiana and directed by Clément Chéroux, held its second gala dinner in the salons of the prestigious Westin Vendôme hotel.
Following Henri Cartier-Bresson and Martine Franck’s will, the Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation preserves its founders’ work by promoting new generations of contemporary photographers. During the evening, held under the patronage of French President Emmanuel Macron and attended by French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati, five French and international artists were honoured with a special prize.
We had the pleasure of meeting Sophie Calle, alongside the Minister of Culture Rachida Dati, Pascale Mussard, Emmanuel Perrotin, Christoph Wiesner, Emmanuel Carrère, and François Hébel.
