05.09.2016 FONDATION D'ENTREPRISE RICARD #art

Paris’ exhibits at the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard

On Monday evening, the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard unveiled’Paris’, its new exhibition as a prelude to the 18th edition of its eponymous prize.

Isabelle Cornaro, the 2010 laureate, invited to sign this curation by Colette Barbier, director of the Foundation, has selected the works of Anne Imhof, Clarisse Hahn, Clément Cogitore, Julien Crépieux, Louise Sartor, Mari Voignier, Mélanie Matranga and Will Benedict, which will be on display at the Foundation and in an adjacent cinema until October 28.

Coming from different horizons and practices, the artists of this 18th edition have in common a singular look at the contemporary world and its society, proposing a reading that questions interpretations, confronts facts and contextualizes an overabundant visual flow. Using transformation as a filter, each of the works presented forms a visual situation that questions the present time, enriched by multi-disciplinary practices.

The winner of the 2016 edition will be unveiled on 21 October at the FIAC and will see a work integrated into the Centre Pompidou’s collections.
