Parfums de Marly Unveils Palatine, Their New Unconventional Perfume
Inspired by several periods in history, Palatine is the latest addition to Parfums de Marly’s distinguished collection. The fragrance is based on Princess Elisabeth-Charlotte De Bavière, known as “La Palatine”. Sister-in-law of Louis XIV, she was an important figure at the Château de Marly, the secret palace where the king would receive his closest friends, and where she even owned an entire apartment. A vibrant figure of remarkable independence for her time.
Her audacity and modernity have inspired this transgressive fragrance, in which the violet petal, a note often considered traditional, marries lavender and notes of mandarin, pear, bergamot, patchouli and vanilla. This distinctly feminine floral explosion breaks the rules and comes in a bold purple bottle. At the presentation of this cheeky fragrance, we met Loïc Prigent, Lara Preysing, Marilyn Nwawulor, Phoebe Torrance, Anita Giancarli and many others.
