Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris celebrates Peau d’Ane

Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris and Véronique Cayla, President of Arte, hosted in the private cinema of the hotel the screening of Peau d’Âne, Jacques Demy’s masterpiece entirely remastered by his son Mathieu and sold in a’fairy box’ for the end of year celebrations. An opportunity for young and old to rediscover this fairytale transformed into a musical comedy by Michel Legrand’s virtuoso soundtrack, supported by a cast as starry as the hotel institution – starring Catherine Deneuve and Jean Marais.

At the invitation of the channel and Serge Ethuin, General Manager of the hotel, journalists with children and relatives of the director came to enjoy this afternoon session, a few days before the Christmas holidays, and taste the”Cake d’amour” made by the hotel’s star chef, Hans Zahner.
