“Le Dîner des Amis” celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Palais de Tokyo
As part of the “Alliances des Corps” festival, Europe’s most avant-garde art center celebrates the work of Marinella Senatore. Vittoria Matarrese, curator and director of the performance art program, gave free rein to the multidisciplinary Italian artist Marinella Senatore for a four-day festival.
This project committed to feminism and inclusion was initiated by a voguing performance on the opening night. Artists from fifteen associations were invited by Marinella Senatore to perform during the cocktail party, then giving way to the harpist Chloé Ducray and later to a duet sung by President of the Palais de Tokyo’s Friend association Philippe Dian and President of the Palais de Tokyo Guillaume Désanges.
A joyful evening, a dinner set in the New York Orb of the Palais, orchestrated by Potel & Chabot and a creation by Pierre Hermé, champagne from the House of Ruinart, Hauts de Smith and Pierres Rousses flowing freely, and a dj set by Mélanie Bauer brought the evening to a dancing end.
