The Negropontes Gallery Celebrates the Arrival of Spring with the Opening of “True Colors”
On Friday 31, the Negropontes Gallery inaugurated “True Colors”, an exhibition that features a selection of artworks and furniture pieces of vivid colours which, both hanging and suspended, adorn the entirety of the space. Among the pieces on display are glass sculptures by Perrin & Perrin, horsehair sculptures by Ulrika Liljedahl, wood sculptures by Etienne Moyat and brass sculptures by Eric de Dormaël. Ceramics by Benjamin Poulanges and Jean-Christophe Malaval as well as paintings by Cécile Gauneau, complete this miscellaneous collection, which comes to life among furniture pieces by Erwan Boulloud, Gianluca Pacchioni and Hervé Langlais.
Sophie Negropontes’ exhibition brings together artists whose work is intrinsically linked to nature and its elements and, true to the gallery’s distinctive spirit, stands out for its meticulous choice of unusual materials. A unique journey that brings a breath of fresh air to the French decorative arts scene.
