François Pinault Foundation Dinner

Last Wednesday, the 55th Venice Biennale opened its international pavilions to the world of art, and with their Renaissance doors, a long series of happening events that will punctuate, for a week, the worldly nights of serenissima.

Without doubt the most popular of them: the dinner of the François Pinault Foundation, hosted by the family of industrialists in honour of contemporary art and all the artists who shape it.

This year, it is on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore – opposite the Palace of the Doges – that the president of the PPR group has chosen to receive his 1500 guests, among whom Damien Hirst, Miuccia Prada, Larry Gagosian, Francesco Vezzoli, Hanish Kapoor, Julio le Parc and many other great artists of this world.
