Fabio Novembre showcases DBOX for Fuorisalone
The Fuori Salone delivers on surprises and innovations. DBOX’s new multi-space project was presented for the first time in the heart of the Tortona district under the artistic direction of architect Fabio Novembre (produced by MY EVENTS in the Magna Pars hotel). It is designed as a space for exchanges and meetings with a wide audience: to give access to talks organized with great contemporary Italian architects (such as Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas, known among others for the famous “Nuvola” in Rome). DBOX is also a container designed to accommodate design, art and lifestyle projects. Fuori Salone draws in companies that wish to invest in and produce collaborations and exhibitions—companies such as Lamborghini, Sammontana or Telepass. Fabio Novembre imagined atmospheres in primary colors, and there was the monumental Nemo chair, created in 2010 and shaped like a face, that he created for Driade. DBOX teamed up with MTV to create a playlist between conferences. Fabio Novembre attended events at the Salone del Mobile and the Fuori Salone, at the Universidad Statale where he exhibited his project Perdormire, and at the DBOX space for a conversation on design in the Domus Academy space, with Antonio Citterio and Ettore Mochetti. DBOX will return in Venice for the 58th edition of the Biennale.
