Charlotte Gainsbourg signs her book “Rest”
Singer, actress, muse… Charlotte Gainsbourg’s talent is not one that can be categorized. Six years after “Stage Whisper,” she released her new album “Rest” in 2017. It in turn inspired a limited-edition book, which she presented this week at the Parisian bookstore Yvon Lambert. A co-publication from Because and Classic, the 1000 copies trace the making of the album through photographs taken in Paris and New York, as well as drawings and lyrics. Released on March 25th, book signings in New York and Los Angeles are forthcoming in April. Charlotte Gainsbourg will be at several festivals this spring and summer, notably appearing at Coachella on April 19th.
