Opening of the Reiffers Art Initiatives 2024 Mentorship Exhibition “who is afraid of red, blue and yellow?”

The past Monday and Tuesday evening, Reiffers Art Initiatives kicked off Paris Art Week with the exhibition “who is afraid of red, blue and yellow?”. The opening was attended by the artists Ugo Rondinone and Tarek Lakhrissi, who introduced us to their work at the Reiffers Art Center, near the Étoile.

Like every year, the Reiffers Art Initiatives Foundation, created by the Founding President of the Mazarine Group Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers, brings together a major international figure in contemporary art and an emerging artist of the French scene through its mentorship programme.

In this fourth edition, Ugo Rondinone has taken on the mentor role to accompany young artist and poet Tarek Lakhrissi. Working in tandem, the artists have transformed the Foundation’s space with a total artwork. Using red, blue and yellow as focal points, this introductory circuit takes visitors on a magical journey through colour.

During the exhibition opening, we meet the artists alongside many figures from the art, culture, and fashion scenes, including Chris Dercon, Caroline Bourgeois, Cathia Lawson, Kamel Mennour, Laurent Dumas, Sarah Andelman, Cedric Charbit, Guillaume Désanges, Laura Smet, Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis, Victoire de Pourtales, Olympia Scarry, Xavier Veilhan, Harry Nuriev, Kilian Hennessy, Camille Miceli, Laeticia Halliday, Babeth Djian, Vincent Pressiat, Alexia Niedzielski, Hélène Nguyen-Ban, Elisabetta Beccari, Elie Top, Kim Higelin, Hugo Marchand and Nix Lecourt-Mansion, to name but a few
