Women’s basketball mania has broken out around the world. To salute her, Tissot, in partnership with the Wilson sports brand (producer of the league’s official balls) and the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), presents the first official WNBA watch. These are two limited edition versions of the Tissot Seastar: the Tissot Seastar Wilson® WNBA Powermatic 80 and the Tissot Seastar Wilson® WNBA Quartz. The original series, created in 1952, represents the line of diving watches from the Swiss luxury watch manufacturing company founded on 1 July 1853 by Charles-Félicien Tissot. The new collection includes 40 mm models such as the Seastar 2000 Professional, which guarantees water resistance up to 600 meters and the Seastar 1000, designed for dives up to 300 meters. The new timepieces were launched on the occasion of the 2024 Draft on April 15th, which effectively marked the start of the twenty-eighth season of the women’s basketball championship.
