Bradley Cooper x Louis Vuitton: 20 years of the Tambour

To celebrate 20 years of Tambour, Louis Vuitton presents the new campaign with actor and director Bradley Cooper. The ad for Tambour Twenty comprises a video directed by Oscar-winning director Damien Chazelle and images by photographer Boo George. The timepiece honors the original in a limited edition of 200 pieces. Maintaining the same robust and recognizable flared-shaped case, the Tambour Twenty model features a brown brushed soleil-effect dial along which runs the long yellow chronograph hand, in reference to the thread historically used in leather processing. Combining creativity and craftsmanship, the Tambour Twenty keeps time with a high-frequency LV277 movement based on the iconic Zenith El Primero, the first automatic chronograph in history. This movement, which has a 22-karat gold rotor and a 50-hour power reserve, is accurate to a tenth of a second. An Oscar-winning watch with an Oscar-winning patron currently filming his Netflix-produced “Maestro” film due out in 2023.
