One would think she’d just emerged from a painting of a Zhang Daqian masterpiece, Yiqing Yin has the features, grace, complexion and hair of a Chinese model. Born in Beijing in 1985, the young woman left China at the age of 4, her parents being antique dealers who travelled the world before settling in Paris. A fashion designer who founded her own company just 25 years ago, the woman who was initially taken for a simple ambassador for Vacheron Constantin has turned out to become much more involved. Case in point is the Égérie – The Pleats of Time, a concept watch that she has released alongside a couture dress. This unique model encapsulates in its strap an original fragrance designed by Dominique Ropion (one of the greatest) which is released with every movement. A first in this sector, which we hope will open the door to a collection.
