Vernissage “Grand Magasin”, an exhibition by Philippe Jarrigeon for the 25th anniversary of the Prix de l’andam

The Galerie des Galeries celebrates the 25th anniversary of ANDAM (Association Nationale de Développement des Arts de la Mode) and invites photographer Philippe Jarrigeon to stage the collections of 15 emblematic winners of the prize. He imagines “Grand Magasin” and composes a series of images inspired by this place and photographed within the Galeries Lafayette.

Still images, still lifes, fantasized portraits of clients or staff members, fantasy group photographs tell a watermark of the worlds of designers AMI Alexandre Mattiussi, A.P.C. Jean Touitou, BLESS, Felipe Oliveira Baptista, Julien David, Giles Deacon, Christophe Lemaire, Véronique Leroy, Maison Martin Margiela, Gareth Pugh, Jeremy Scott, Anthony Vaccarello, Viktor & Rolf, Yazbukey and Yiqing Yin.

With this project, the photographer draws up an ideal of a department store and celebrates 25 years of fashion in a festive and original universe. A beautiful beginning to the week of the fashion shows, while waiting for the big ANDAM evening…
