Tuesday 22 saw the long-awaited premiere of the upcoming series The Idol, directed by Sam Levinson. Starring Lily Rose Depp as a budding young star falling under the thumb of nightlife manager Abel Tesfaye, this sinister fantasy drama explores the dark and hidden sides of the music industry. Several scandals and controversy have been looming over this premiere, which was attended by the cast of the series, who took to the stage in the company of French idol Lena Mahfouf, as well as Travis Scott, Alton Mason, Fai Khadra and many others.
