A Look Back at the Annual AmfAR Gala

The amfAR Gala is back in Cannes for its 29th edition, this time presented by Queen Latifah. The event, organised by the foundation for AIDS Research and hosted at the Cap-Eden-Roc Hotel, has become an integral part of the Festival’s programme. Carine Roitfeld took the halm once again, welcoming great icons, models and notable and socially engaged designers, including Jeremy Scott, to an evening filled with extravagance.

Founded by Elizabeth Taylor in 1985, amfAR is the world’s leading non-profit organisation dedicated to research. This year it gathered together Fan Bingbing, Bébé Rexha, Eva Longoria, Coco Rocha, Heidi Klum, Rebel Wilson and Nabilla Benattia. A glittering catwalk of a thousand colours and celebrities, all raising money for an eminent common cause.
