Tod’s, Walter Chiapponi, and the Latest Fashion Essentials

This is the good old Made in Italy: masterfully executed pieces, made to last and devoid of any superfluous decoration. Walter Chiapponi’s latest collection is the culmination of a long search for the essence of tailoring and high-quality Italian craftsmanship. Garments are made with the precision of cuts, volumes and the exceptional qualities of the fabrics in mind. Tod’s creative director proposes a male wardrobe inspired by 90s minimalism revisited with a feminine sensibility where every garment is an ode to sartorial tradition. Softness and fluidity are to be found in each of the looks, which feature suits, wide trousers with pleats, collarless jackets, waistcoats or trench coats. The pieces were crafted at the Scala Ansaldo Workshops, where set designers, sculptors and carpenters create the sets for La Scala, just as Tod’s master tailors bring the highest quality collections to life. Many international celebrities like Camille Razat, Jacob Rott, Bel Powley, Ahn Bo-Hyun, Pelayo Diaz and Isabella Ferrari were present to greet Walter Chiapponi and get a preview of his latest collection.
