Todd Snyder Makes His Comeback at Pitti Uomo with a Bold Collection

Todd Snyder made his triumphant return to the runway at Pitti Uomo in Florence, presenting his Autumn/Winter 2024 collection. The show, divided into two acts like a theatrical performance, showcased 81 looks, including 50 from the Todd Snyder collection and 31 from the new collaboration with Woolrich Black Label, where the Iowa-born designer serves as Creative Director. The event was an exciting fashion celebration, blending classic sartorial style with a decidedly bold new direction. “When I started my line 13 years ago, I felt very fortunate to work with some of the most legendary suppliers and factories in Italy. Italy has always inspired me, and walking the runway in Florence today is a dream come true.” The collaboration with Woolrich Black Label resulted in a sophisticated collection inspired by the brand’s 190-year history, featuring elegant pieces with nods to Woolrich’s heritage. The second part of the runway showcased Snyder’s personal collection, titled “The Modernist,” reflecting the evolution of men’s wardrobe influenced by design, music and art icons such as Joy Division, Porsche 912, Franz Kline, and Arne Jacobsen. Many figures from the fashion world attended the show, including Johannes Huebl, Carlo Sestini, Rahi, Will Welch, and Steve Gonzales.
