The Venice Biennale began this week with the inauguration of the International Pavilions, notably the French Pavilion, which will host the exhibition “RAVEL RAVEL UNRAVEL” by artist Anri Sala, chosen this year to represent French art.
To tell the truth, it is in fact in the German pavilion that the works of the Albanian-born plastic artist are exhibited, the two curators (Christine Macel for France, Susanne Gaensheimer for Germany) having chosen to seal the Franco-German friendship by exchanging their homes.
