Artcurial Introduces The Eclectic Eye Collection
Coinciding with Paris+ by Art Basel, Artcurial is unveiling the Eclectic Eye Collection from a flat in London. This unique and cutting-edge collection, assembled over the course of 20 years by a group of expert collectors, brings together objects from a wide range of periods. From great modern artists like Berthe Morisot and Pierre Bonnard, to contemporaries Peter Doig and Olafur Eliasson, not to forget exceptional 18th-century furniture and porcelain pieces from China and Sèvres. This collection of nearly 160 lots takes visitors on a unique journey through the free and intuitive spirit of collectors. At the inauguration party, featuring a DJ set by Dylan Julien and sponsors Italicus and Mumm, we caught a glimpse of Hervé Poulain, Bruno Jaubert, Christian Ogier, Hugues Sebilleau, Francis Briest, Alexandra Driscoll, Victoria Wymal and Eloi Perrin, among others.
