The Bettencourt Schueller Foundation Awards the 24th “Liliane Bettencourt pour l’Intelligence de la Main” Prize

On Tuesday 3 October, the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation awarded the “Liliane Bettencourt pour l’Intelligence de la Main” prize, a ceremony that embodies their commitment to highlight the contemporary nature of fine crafts and their relevance. Through these awards, the Foundation perpetuates the founders’ aim to “give wings to talent” and contribute to the success and influence of France. Thanks to the patronage of Rima Abdul Malak, French Minister of Culture, Françoise Bettencourt Meyers, President of the Foundation, and the jury, chaired for the first time by Laurence des Cars, President and Director of the Louvre Museum, this 24th edition of the competition reflects the institution’s original commitment one more year. Woodturner Pascal Oudet was awarded the Talents d’exception prize, Aurélia Leblanc and Lucile Viaud received the Dialogues award for their piece “Pêche cristalline”, and the Lainamac association won the Parcours award.

At the awards ceremony, we had the pleasure of meeting India Mahdavi, Rabih Kayrouz, Françoise Pétrovitch, Paul Bourdet, Charlotte Ketabi, Annette Gerlach and many others.
