The Winners of the 2024 ANDAM Fashion Awards

On Thursday, June 27th, the ANDAM (the National Association for the Development of the Fashion Arts) unveiled the winners of the 35th edition. Established in 1989 by Nathalie Dufour and chaired by Guillaume Houzé, this prestigious Fashion Award celebrates talented and promising young designers, providing them with financial support and invaluable guidance to develop their brands. It’s an incredible opportunity for these young designers to benefit from the advice and expertise of professionals, who will guide them on the process of structuring and growing their businesses.

Every edition counts with an outstanding jury composed of permanent members and invited guests such as Cédric Charbit, Virginie Efira, Augustin Trapenard, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Rossy de Palma and Rosé, and with the support of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. Chaired by Anthony Vaccarello, creative director of SAINT LAURENT, this year’s jury revealed the lucky winners in the Cour d’Honneur of the Jardins du Palais Royal.

The ANDAM Grand Prix was awarded to Australian designer Christopher Esber, whose elegant and fluid drapery impressed the jury. Other ANDAM prizes, such as the Special Jury Prize and the Accessory Prize, were respectively awarded to Emeric Tchatchoua (3. PARADIS), known for his distinctive bird prints, and Maeden, a Dutch leather goods brand. Pièces Uniques, Edmond Luu’s men’s ready-to-wear label, won the Pierre Bergé Prize, while Pauline Weinmann of Alternative Innovation received the Innovation Prize for her plant-based memory shape bioresin named Alterskin.

Besides winners and jury members, the ceremony brought together numerous influential figures from the fashion and cultural spheres, including Alphonse Maîtrepierre, Pascal Morand, Alexandra Guerain, Alice Barbier, Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, Nicolas Santi-Weil, Lutz Huelle, Stephane Ashpool, Andrea Rosso, Willy Cartier, Rachida Dati, Anja Rubik, Augustin Trapenard, Niels Schneider, Emmanuelle Alt, John Nollet, Alexandre de Betak, Gaspar Noe, Virginie Efira, Rosé, Johanna Senyk…
