Ruinart Introduces the Art of (Re)Craft in Paris

For a special 10-day interlude, Ruinart will be travelling from Reims to Paris. The Maison will settle at an ephemeral space in the very heart of the French capital to unveil their take on the art of (Re)Craft. As the first established House of Champagne, founded in 1729, Ruinart embraces both its rich heritage and its commitment to addressing today’s environmental challenges. In this spirit, the Maison will be revealing how they have adapted to climate change, shedding light on the processes behind their products, from vine to wine. For the first time in Paris, Ruinart will present a brand-new cuvée: Ruinart Blanc Singulier. This unique chardonnay bears witness to the impact of climate change, offering a glimpse of what champagne will look like in the future. To elevate the experience of this new champagne, Ruinart has summoned Michelin-starred chefs Arnaud Donckele, Claire Vallée (the world’s first Michelin-starred chef to offer 100% plant-based cuisine) and Grégory Garimbay to join forces with Valérie Radou, the head chef at Ruinart in Reims. Together, they have imagined culinary creations to enjoy along with the wines, which guests will be able to enjoy over lunch or dinner. During a preview tasting, we had the pleasure of meeting Johan Creten, Jean-Michel Othoniel, Yann Arthus Bertrand, Frédéric Dufour, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Lorena Vergani and many others.
