The Emerige 2019 Révélations Grant honors Paul Heintz

Launched by Laurent Dumas in 2014, the Emerige Révélations grant for new artistic talent has become one of the major artistic events of the end of the year. The program highlights the work of young French artists or artists residing in France and gives them an exhibition platform plus the opportunity to be represented by a partner gallery and to launch a first-time solo show. For this sixth edition, the twelve artists selected will present the exhibition “L’effet falaise”, designed by Gaël Charbau, and installed in a brand new exhibition space created by Emerige: Voltaire, a former industrial factory transformed into a place of artistic production and temporary exhibition. A few days before the exhibition opens to the public, the jury composed of Laurent Dumas, Bénédicte Alliot, Olivier Kaeser, Nathalie Boutin, Solène Guillier, Annabelle Ténèze, Joana Hadjithomas and Emmanuel Tibloux selected Paul Heintz as the winner of this 2019 edition. The young artist will receive professional support and a grant to hold his first solo exhibition at the gb agency gallery in France then at the Hestia Art Residency & Exhibitions Bureau in Belgrade.
