Reiffers Art Initiatives and Numéro Art Honour Ser Serpas
To celebrate the 2nd edition of its annual prize, Reiffers Art Initiatives inaugurated an exhibition at their space at the Acacias Art Center last month. Presented under the title “Infiltrées – 5 manières d’habiter le monde”, this group show brought together the work of 5 emerging artists from four different continents, namely Meriem Bennani, Han Bing, Bianca Bondi, Binta Diaw et Ser Serpas. Created by Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers, Chairman of Mazarine and founder of Reiffers Art Initiatives, this award is aimed at promoting young contemporary artists and cultural diversity. On Thursday evening, we gathered again in the heart of the exhibition to honour the laureate of this edition, Ser Serpas, an American artist currently living in Paris. Standing next to her, Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers, Babeth Djian and Thibaut Wychowanok, as well as leading figures in the field such as Suzanne Pagé, Vittoria Matarrese, Laurent Le Bon, Cathia Lawson-Hall, Charles de Vilmorin, Francesca Bellettini, Thierry Gillier, Bruno Pavlovsky and Ugo Rondinone.
