Peet Dullaert, handcrafted excellence

During Paris Haute Couture week, Peet Dullaert presented a 2024 collection that accentuates the contours of his undisputed talent for costum couture and exclusive designs.

With an infinite admiration for the human body and the female silhouette, the Dutch couturier has fashioned body-hugging pieces like an architect, ensuring shapes with disconcerting naturalness. An exploration of organic forms combined with unconventional technologies to create silhouettes with fluid tailoring and reinterpreted modern postures.

In nowaday’s digital age, Peet Dullaert takes a contrarian approach, favoring a process where handwork prevails, while adapting it to today’s needs. His creations, carefully crafted using artisanal techniques on fabrics, give rise to unique textures that pay homage to nature. The designer has created a universal collection in the image of a new generation, inspired by his personal life and the people who surround and inspire him on a daily basis.

The designer himself points out, “By celebrating the uniqueness of each individual, forging intergenerational bonds and reflecting on the world through responsibly made collections, we share stories imbued with homage inspired by the resonance of our Earth.”

Looks designed without machines in his Atelier, where he surrounds himself with talented little hands, listening to bodies and needs… Expertise stamped right onto the backs of his mannequins!
