There is no need to present Bourse Révélations Emerige anymore. Initiated by Laurent Dumas in 2014, it is now one of the major artistic events of the end of the year. For the past five years, the Bourse Révélations has put forward the work of young French artists or artists residing in France and not only giving them an exhibition platform but also offering its winner the opportunity to be represented by a partner gallery and to exhibit a first solo show. While last year Linda Sanchez was chosen as the winner (and received the opportunity to work with Galerie Papillon), this year it was the young Paul Mignard, visual artist and poet, who was awarded by a jury composed of art professionals including Gaël Charbau (who Say Who met on the occasion of the 17th edition of Nuit Blanche), curator of the exhibition bringing together the eleven finalists, and Jérôme Poggi, main partner gallery of this edition. The winner was announced at the end of the opening evening of “Outside Our”, the collective exhibition of the finalists’ works to be seen at Villa Emerige until December 2. This year again, Emerige showed its willingness to promote the work of artists on the international scene with the participation of two galleries, The Pill (Istanbul) and Hestia (Belgrade).
