Sandqvist opens its first French boutique in Paris
The Swedish brand Sandqvist is well known to lovers of sustainable style. After Sweden, Berlin and London, the brand opened its very first boutique in France this week on the rue de Saintonge in Paris’ 3rd arrondissement. Created in 2004 by Anton and Daniel Sandqvist and their childhood friend Sebastian Westin, the label was born out of a desire to create a functional and resistant bag, perfect for hiking in the Scandinavian lands where they were born. The brand invited its fans to discover the shop designed by the Wingårdhs architects group that mixes stone and recycled materials (wood, glass). Guests included designer Nicolas Lecourt Mansion, Marine Neuilly (La Chatte de Françoise) and Sylvain Lewis who had the chance to rediscover the brand’s extensive range of products, from its emblematic canvas backpack to new shopping bags and other small leather goods…
