Tajan ArtStudio is offering a unique reading of the new contemporary creation from September 8 to 20, 2016, as part of its Art and Design Without Borders exhibition.
Without barriers or limits, this event brings together a selection of emerging creative talents, international artists who form the new guard of contemporary art. Aldo Bakker, Barberini Gunnell, Mischa Kahn, Frank Tjepkema, Marcel Wanders and Richard Woods among others, will be exhibiting their work and meeting the public during the month of September.
At the heart of this dialogue between contemporary art and design, the work of painter and draftsman François Rouan: working in photography since the 1980s, he has made around twenty films in recent years where his paintings and the ancestral technique of weaving confront each other. Superimpositions, knotting of each other, still images and moving images always seek the same indenouble braiding of the figure and the background,” he says.
Confronting disciplinary approaches to consumer choices in art, this exhibition highlights the growing place of the cultural context in revealing the identity of both the artist and the art lover.
Beyond a sharp selection, this exhibition is a journey to the heart of young contemporary creation with the multiplicity of its techniques, renderings and interpretations. The ArtStudio experience will continue in the coming months, in other formats.
This unique exhibition, mixing different techniques, renderings and interpretations of Art without borders, will offer visitors, for about ten days, the opportunity to travel to the heart of the new contemporary creation, and to try, with this first back-to-school event, the ArtStudio experience, which will take a new form from October, with an original and original program.
