The Fondation d’entreprise Ricard is back in business by honouring eight young artists as part of its 15th eponymous Prize: Stéphane Barbier-Bouvet, Jonathan Binet, Alex Cecchetti, Caroline Mesquita, Chloé Quenum, Lili Reynaud Dewar, Alexandre Singh, and Benjamin Valenza.
To stage the work of this young guard, the curator Yann Chateigné imagined the exhibition “Material Life” (a tribute to Marguerite Duras’ work) around four main themes: materiality, gesture, economy and literature.
While waiting for the Bal Jaune, during which the jury (composed of collectors, friends of the great contemporary art museums, and curators of previous exhibitions of the Prize) will announce the winner, the exhibition is to be discovered at 12 rue Boissy d’Anglas, from Tuesday to Saturday.
