Opening of the AD Collections 2016 exhibition

The sublime Hôtel de la Marine has finally reopened its doors to Parisians after long centuries of military secrets, now exiled Porte de Sèvres. But not for long. The neo-classical masterpiece returned to its original function (the salons were dedicated to royal furniture storage under Louis XV) by hosting the second edition of the AD Collections exhibition. A great gap in the history of French decorative arts and the know-how of the best craftsmen.

The 2016 exhibition presents a selection of objects and furniture of high quality treated in noble materials and published in small series. The works presented – three per creator and selected by the AD teams – take place in a scenography designed by Adrien Gardère. In the course of the salons, we find signatures like Joseph Dirand, Patricia Urquiola and Marcel Wanders for the nomadic objects of Louis Vuitton, Emmanuel Bossuet or Charles Zana. Until April 10 at the Navy Hotel.
