Manifattura Tabacchi presents Linda Loppa’s night walk
As Florence hosts Pitti Uomo’s 96th edition, Manifattura Tabacchi is presenting an exhibition intersecting art and fashion. With “If I could, unless we,” Linda Loppa—influential fashion industry figure and longtime director of Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts fashion department—invited seven artists to create an off-the-beaten-path itinerary, featuring Bart Hess, Lara Torres, Armando Chant, Moses Hamborg, Bernhard Willhelm, Clemens Thornquist, and Senjan Jansen. The idea behind the exhibition was a night walk inflected with video, painting, photography and sound installation: visitors could explore the living chiaroscuro before returning to Pitti Uomo’s fashion frenzy.
