Louis-Gabriel Nouchi Wins the Grand Prize of the ANDAM Fashion Award

A triumph for the man we interviewed just last month, Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, who talked about the importance of masculine sensuality. The Paris-based designer receives a prize of 300,000 euros as well as a year’s coaching from Riccardo Bellini, CEO of the Fashion Maison CHLOÉ, patron of this 34th edition and president of the jury. Additionally, and for the first time in the history of the Award, a second Special Prize has been awarded, raising the total prize fund to 800,000 euros. The two lucky winners of this double Special Prize are Ester Manas and her partner Balthazar Delepierre, fervent advocates of inclusive fashion since the launch of their brand in 2019, and the upcycling brand based in Amsterdam and Paris Duran Lantink. Arthur Avellano won the Pierre Bergé Prize, which celebrates young fashion companies, for his label specialised in latex clothing, and Ukrainian designer Ruslan Baginskiy was honoured with the Fashion Accessories Prize.

Founded by Nathalie Dufour and chaired by Guillaume Houzé, the ANDAM Fashion Awards was born in 1989 with the aim of promoting young fashion talents. The Prize offers both financial and logistical support to innovative fashion designers and start-ups, chosen after a thorough selection process that can last several months. Thanks to the commitment of its sponsors and network, the ANDAM awards are not only great financial endowments, but also an incredible opportunity for these young talents to access priceless expertise and advice, which will guide them in structuring and growing their business. We had the opportunity to see Gigi Hadid, Charles de Vilmorin, Alexandre de Betak, Glenn Martens, Kevin Germanier, and Minister Rima Abdul-Malak.
