The Ocean Made Garment by Celia Kritharioti

Celia Kritharioti, the oldest Couture House in Athens established in 1906, seamlessly blends traditional savoir-faire with a resolutely modern and sophisticated style. On Tuesday 23rd, the emblematic House unveiled its Spring-Summer 2024 Haute Couture collection in the French capital. The presentation took place at the Pavillon Cambon Capucines, transformed for the occasion to echo the essence of “Deep Sea”, a genuine ode to the sea. The legendary Naomi Campbell opened the show, followed by icons Candice Swanepoel and Coco Rocha, all draped in magnificent outfits inspired by the marine world. Shades of blue, naturally, but also silver hues, recalling the intimate link between the sea and the moon, all highlighted with a vibrant colour palette, reflecting the richness and diversity of the creatures sheltered by the sea. On the front row, we spotted Sara Sampaio, Jaydena, Louise Parent, Denise Vilgrain, Mélanie Huynh, Didier Ludot…
