Official Announcements of the 39th International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories – Hyères

Embracing the spirit that drives Parisian streets during Fashion Week, last Wednesday Jean-Pierre Blanc gathered creators from all fields to announce the programme of the 39th International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories – Hyères. This year’s edition, organised by the Villa Noailles and dedicated to young international artists, will take place from October 10th to 13th, offering an exciting line-up of new discoveries.

The event took place at UNESCO and began with speeches by UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay and founder Jean-Pierre Blanc, who then announced the members of this year’s jury and the 10 finalists competing in each category. At the head of the fashion jury is the artistic director of Courrèges, Nicolas Di Felice, alongside London-based Spanish artist Coco Capitán, who will chair the jury in the photography category. As for accessories, the honour falls to Finnish designer Achilles Ion Gabriel to preside over the jury.

After the presentation, we attended a concert by Jona Rain, followed by a live performance by Dan Mpambu, from the company I Could Never Be a Dancer. During the evening, which closed with Amandine de La Richardière’s DJ set, we crossed paths with Camélia Jordana, Charles de Vilmorin, Bilal Hassani, John McCarthy, Coralie Gauthier, Marine Brutti, Jean-Kenta Gauthier, Harry Nuriev, Audrey Marnay, Jean-Pierre Blanc, Paula Canovas Del Vas, Arta Ghanbari and Thaddé Comar.
